Earlier this year we were booked to clear a 3 bed house near Northampton town centre. The landlord had received a call from the police to inform him that the house had been raided after they discovered the property had been converted into a cannabis farm. Once the police had destroyed all the cannabis and handed the house back to the landlord it was down to Rubbish2Go to clear the mess. Luckily for us (and the landlord) the tenants had been extremely tidy with their work and had covered all the floors and walls in plastic sheeting. Once the bulk of the fertiliser, plant pots, ducting and furniture had been cleared the team were careful to ensure the plastic sheeting was carefully removed so to keep the carpets as clean as possible (in the hope that they would not need replacing)
In total we cleared
- 5t fertiliser
- 8 cubic yds of plastic sheeting and plant pots
- Bedroom and living room furniture
- Endless amounts of cabling and plug sockets
- 1x toothbrush
Thankfully due to our quick turnaround, the property was ready to be refurbished and ready for the new tenants in record time.
