Northampton Town Centre – Drapery Clearance.
Following a fire in April 2019 in Northampton Town Centre above a jewellers, Rubbish2Go were commissioned in the summer to complete a full clearance of the devastated space.
Having previously been used as a successful hair salon, the building had been empty for a while, but many of the old fixtures and fittings over the two story flat had been left behind and as a result had been destroyed in the blaze.
Due to the prime location of the building on the busy Northampton Town’s Drapery, parking limitations and other boundaries meant that we had to apply for all relevant documentation and permits enabling us to ensure the most seamless and time affective service for our client.
In addition to working under very challenging conditions where all items, floors and surfaces had severe smoke damage all the waste and materials needed to be carried down one, if not two flights of stairs and then needed to be manoeuvred through a small access alley before being carried over to our vehicles.
Over a period of four days we had two teams clear in excess of 100 yds of waste.
